We are seeking a reliable Night Warden responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our site(s) overnight, monitoring access, responding to incidents and reporting accurately and promptly.
Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must already hold unrestricted right to work in the UK.
Main duties:
- Monitor and patrol designated properties to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Assist in loss prevention by identifying theft or fraud attempts and reporting them accordingly.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure all incidents are documented accurately.
- Collaborate with emergency services when required and provide necessary information during investigations.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security issues or incidents.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Security Warden, SIA-licensed Security Officer, or in a similar security role.
- Experience operating CCTV and surveillance systems.
Essential:
! Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle MUST HAVE
- Male candidate (as per role requirement).
- Be on the DBS Update Service.
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
- Availability to work nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Professional attitude with strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- SIA Experience (highly advantageous).
- Certified in First Aid.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies.
- Previous experience in night security or site patrol roles.
Hours will be 7pm to 5am on a 4 on 4 off basis.
