Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician

We are a growing housing association based in Nottinghamshire seeking reliable Multi-Trade Maintenance Technicians to join our team ASAP! 

Main duties

Perform routine and general maintenance tasks across ALL properties, including but not limited to: 

Joinery work, repairing plumbing/electrical issues, painting & decorating, PAT testing, health and safety checks, basic filling and plastering, tiling, basic brickwork, gardening/landscaping, CCTV installation & repairs. 

• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance work required & priority
• Troubleshoot & repair equipment
• Liaise with external contractors
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Experience

• Strong joinery skills (highly required)
• Solid electrical and plumbing skills
• Painting & decorating experience 
• Proven multi-trade or general building background
• Communication and leadership skills to supervise other maintenance staff as necessary.

Essential 

• OWN VAN/VEHICLE (essential)
• Own set of comprehensive tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Proficient written and spoken English

Desirable

• Qualifications in multiple trades
• Previous experience maintaining a housing association or similar
• Welding skills are a bonus

! REQUIRES DRIVING: This role requires you to travel between any of our properties in and around Nottinghamshire to ensure they remain in a good condition. If you do not drive and have access to a vehicle, please do not apply. 

Occasional opportunities for additional earnings from extra installation projects.
